Neon Signs Vs Channel Signs

Neon signs and channel signs are two distinct types of signage, each with its own characteristics and construction methods.

Neon Signs:
Neon signs are iconic and renowned for their vibrant, glowing illumination. They are crafted using glass tubes filled with neon gas, which emits a bright and colorful light when an electrical current is applied. Neon signs are known for their distinctive, retro aesthetic and are often associated with nostalgic and vintage themes. They can be shaped into various letterforms, symbols, or designs, creating a unique and eye-catching display. Neon signs are typically handcrafted by skilled artisans and require specialized expertise for installation and maintenance.

Channel Signs:
Channel signs, also known as channel letter signs, offer a different approach to signage. They are constructed using individual 3D letters or shapes made from metal or plastic. These letters are typically hollow and can house various types of lighting sources, such as LED modules. Channel signs provide a clean and modern appearance, with a focus on precision and versatility. They are often used for commercial signage, branding, and storefront displays. Channel signs offer flexibility in terms of design, as they can be customized with different fonts, sizes, and finishes to match specific branding requirements.

In summary, while neon signs utilize gas-filled glass tubes for vibrant illumination, channel signs feature three-dimensional letters or shapes with various lighting options. Neon signs evoke a retro aesthetic, while channel signs offer a modern and customizable approach to signage. The choice between the two depends on the desired visual style, branding objectives, and the specific requirements of the signage project.

Go to https://transfonter.org/ to convert your TTF file into a web-compatible format. This will ensure your file is readable by all browsers.

  1. Choose the ‘Upload font’ option and enter the name of your font

2. Click on the ‘Choose a font’ button and select the font file you want to add.

3. Click on the ‘save’ button to save the font

NB: WOFF files are not allowed. Only TTF and OTF files can be used.

Material

Material is the basic substance used to create signs (e.g. wood, vinyl, acrylic, etc.). ASO, our signs customiser for Shopify App, makes it the starting point for any configuration.

1. Add a material

To add a material, click on the “Add new material” button in the view you have after clicking on “materials” on the configuration list  page.

Then enter a name, a description, an icon, an illustrative image for the material, and the material type, which is important for the rest of the configuration. This information is used in the customizer to help your customers identify the material.

By clicking on the save button, you’ll see the list of added material. Depending on the type of material, the material setting will differ.

1.1 Manage material simple

Click on the “Manage” of simple material button and configure the various elements: size, color, shape, borders, fixing methods, allow text and images and additional components.

1.1.1 Set up size

In here you create and define standard sizes for your signs. You can specify default dimensions such as small, medium, and large, or create custom sizes based on your specific requirements.

Here you have ‘add new size’. To get started click on ‘Add new sizes’.

Next, fill in a label for your size and follow up with Width and Height and put in a base price and minimum character text to start applying the base price. Follow it up by putting the maximum text character and character price and then you click on save.

1.1.2 Color

Here you create the color options available for your materials.

To do that you click on “color” which is next to sizes and you click on “add material color”.

Depending on the material properties, the color can either be an image or a solid color:

  • If it’s a solid color, you can choose it from the color palette.
  • If it’s an image-based material, upload the corresponding image to represent the color.
  • Color adding process:

Now that you’ve clicked on ‘Add material color,’ you put in a name for the color you want and upload an image that will be shown as the preview of the color you choose.

Next, choose a color or use an image which is under the ‘Use color pattern’ that represents the color you want. When ticked ‘no’ you use a color and when ticked ‘yes’ you use an image instead of a color.

In the ‘enable text color’ section, you can choose to enable the text color and give the color a name and a specific color or not. You can choose to add an additional price for the color if you wish too.

To create another section without leaving the current one you are in, Click on ‘Add Color’ which is down below after the additional price section and you can create how many you want and click on save.

1.1.3 Shape

In Here you set up shapes for your signs, such as triangle, square and ovals.

Click on Add new Shape to begin and Select the shape you want to use and add an additional price to it, as simple as that and you are all done but yes here to you may notice but you can add more shape to at the same time and save them all together too.

1.1.4 Border

In here you select a border styles. Borders can add a professional touch to your signs.

Click on add new border to begin and when done select a border you want and put in and additional price. You can exclude shape to which this border won’t be used with same with the size so you can also exclude size for this border and when done you click save to save what you’ve done. After saving you will see border setting and under it there is border color so all you have to do is put in a label and then name for the color and you choose the color and put in a price for it and under it there is more border options for you to click on to add more if need be for you and you can also enable custom border color which let you upload a preview image to be used for the color made.

1.1.5 Fixing Method

Here are where we see the methods used to fix or mount your signs. Options you might include adhesive, screws, hanging mechanisms, and other mounting solutions.

Click add new Fixing methods to begin

Now select the fixing method you want and as usual add an additional price and exclude shape the fixing method you choose does not apply to and exclude size from this fixing method too if you which to do so only of course and as you can see you can click on add more fixing methods to add multiple and save all in one go.

1.1.6 Text/Image

Here you tick the Enable text and Enable Image if you want them enabled or not.

1.1.7 Additional Components

Overview

An ASCWO configuration is the heart of your customizer. It holds every option customers see on your WooCommerce product page. There are two setup models: Direct Options for simple option-based products and Preset Components for advanced configurations built around design collections.

The List of configurations screen is your control center. Each row is one customizer setup linked to one or more WooCommerce products. From here you can open the editor, duplicate an existing setup to save time, preview what the customer will see, or delete a configuration you no longer need. If you are just getting started, click Create configuration. The wizard is explained in the next section.

Create a Configuration

Click Create configuration in the plugin menu to start the wizard. It asks a few important questions up front, then opens the full editor where you fine-tune every option.

Step 1 – Choose the product family

Pick the product family that matches what you sell – for example Signs & Panels for rigid boards and plaques, Banners or Stickers for flexible or adhesive products, or Letter signs if you configure neon or channel letters. The wizard then shows only the materials and setup options that fit that family.

This choice shapes the whole configuration. If you pick the wrong family, create a new configuration rather than trying to force unrelated products into the same setup.

Step 2 – Choose your materials

Select one or more materials you actually sell in this family – acrylic, aluminium, brass, eco friendly, and others depending on the product type you picked in step 1. You can tick several materials here if one configuration should cover more than one substrate; you will define how each one behaves in the editor afterward.

Step 3 – Choose the setup model

This step decides how customers build their sign. Direct Options (shown as Flexible in the wizard) is the straight path: shoppers pick size, shape, color, material, and extras one after another – the layout most shops use for standard panels and boards.

Preset Components (Structured) starts from predefined components or ready-made structures. Customers personalize those building blocks instead of assembling every option from scratch. The sidebar in the editor will look different after creation – fewer top-level menus, more work inside Components.

Step 4 – Name, describe, and link products

Give the configuration a clear name your team will recognize, add an optional description, and link every WooCommerce product that should open this customizer. The summary on the right recaps your earlier choices – product family, material, and setup model.

A product can only belong to one configuration at a time. If two products need different options, duplicate an existing setup or create a second configuration.

Review and open the editor

Before the configuration is created, a review screen shows your product family, material, setup model, and name. Here you also choose whether to start blank or include a starter template – a ready-made starting point with common sizes and options already filled in. Starter templates are optional; you can always build everything manually in the editor.

Click Create configuration to open the full editor. From there, use the Configurator Menu on the left to set up Core Setup, Editor Setup, Additional Options, Libraries, and Settings – described in the next section.

Direct Options Menu

Direct Options – Configurator Menu

The Configurator Menu sidebar organizes all Direct Options editing. A search field filters items in real time. The exact items you see depend on the setup model you chose in the wizard.

Once inside a configuration, the left sidebar is your map. At the top you see the configuration name, its ID, setup model, and product family. Use the search box to filter menu items when you know the name but not which group it sits in. The back arrow returns to the list; the eye icon opens a live preview of the customer customizer without publishing.

Menu groups are collapsible. If you chose Direct Options in the wizard, Core Setup lists sizes, pricing, fonts, colors, and the rest as separate screens. If you chose Preset Components, much of that work moves into Components instead.

Direct Options – sidebar walkthrough

This is the most common layout. Core Setup holds every structural choice the customer makes before designing: sizes, pricing, fonts, colors, lighting, fixing methods, shapes, materials, and borders. Work through sizes and pricing first, then materials and visual options.

Editor Setup controls the design canvas. Additional Options adds optional upsells and custom questions. Libraries connects clipart groups. Settings covers cart behavior, output files, labels, and appearance.

Preset Components – what changes

With this setup model, Core Setup focuses on Components and Materials rather than separate menus for every size and shape. Customers personalize predefined structures. Additional Options only shows custom questions – not the extra Components list used in the Build by Options flow.

If you expected Sizes or Shapes in the sidebar and do not see them, check the setup model shown at the top of the editor – you likely chose Preset Components when creating the configuration.

Where to go next ? : The following sections document each menu group in detail, with screenshots and explanations for every screen. Start with Core Setup for a Direct Options configuration, or open Components first if you used Build from Presets.

Direct Core Setup

Direct Options – Core Setup

Core Setup is where you define the choices customers must make before or while they design: dimensions, price rules, materials, colors, mounting, and shape. Each item below matches one screen in the sidebar. Read the text under each screenshot to understand what to configure and how it affects the buyer’s journey.

Sizes

The Sizes screen defines which dimensions customers can order. Each row is one predefined size (for example 300 x 200 mm) with its own label, width and height, optional character limits for text, base price, and per-character surcharge. Toggle the Default switch on the size you want pre-selected when the customizer opens.

Use Add new size to build your catalog. In the edit form you can also enable custom size so buyers enter their own width and height within min/max bounds, set thickness options with separate pricing, and exclude certain sizes when a specific material is chosen. Drag rows to change the order customers see them in.

Pricing

Pricing profiles apply when customers choose a custom size or when a material uses a shared pricing rule instead of a fixed size price. Each profile has a label (for example “Standard panel pricing”) and a shipping calculation method. Regular predefined sizes keep their own prices on the Sizes screen – this list is specifically for custom-dimension rules.

When you add or edit a profile, you configure how price scales with area or dimensions, volumetric shipping divisors, and any modifiers. Link the right profile to each material on the Materials screen so the calculator uses the correct rule at checkout.

Fonts

Fonts available in the editor come from your shop-wide Manage fonts library. On this screen you pick which of those fonts appear in this configuration and in what order. The preview column shows how each font renders; set one font as default so new text starts with it.

Click Add fonts to pull in more faces from the global library, or Manage fonts to upload custom files or add Google Fonts. Removing a font here only affects this configuration – it stays in the global library for other configs.

Colors

Colors are the swatches customers pick for faces, backgrounds, or accents depending on your material setup. Each entry has a name, hex value, optional pattern or preview image, and an optional price surcharge. Mark one color as default so the customizer starts with it selected.

You can allow custom colors (customer-supplied values) and set visibility rules so certain colors only appear when a given material is active. Use Add new color to extend the palette beyond your global defaults.

Lighting

Lighting options cover glow, shadow, and LED effects for illuminated or backlit signs. If you have not added any lighting entries yet, the list appears empty – click Add new lighting to create options from your global glow-color library. Each entry can include a label, preview image, extra price, and default state.

Direct Options configurations use this screen to expose lighting as a customer-facing step. If lighting is not relevant to your products, you can leave the list empty and hide the step in Settings -> Customizer Setup -> Config Options.

Fixing Methods

Fixing methods describe how the sign is mounted: wall screws, hanging kit, standoffs, adhesive pads, and so on. Enable methods from your global library (managed under Global Settings -> Fixing Methods), then set the customer-facing label, surcharge, and default for each row. One method should usually be marked default at zero cost.

You can exclude specific fixing methods for certain sizes or shapes when a combination is not physically possible. Customers only see methods that pass those rules.

Shapes

Shapes define the outer contour of the sign: rectangle, square, rounded rectangle, oval, etc. Pull shapes from the global library or add config-specific ones. Each shape has a preview icon, optional price add-on, and a default toggle – typically the standard rectangle is free and default.

Shape choice often interacts with borders and materials; configure exclusions in the edit form if a decorative edge or material only works with certain outlines.

Materials

Materials are usually the first major choice the customer makes. Each card shows a label, description, thumbnail, base price, linked pricing profile, and whether it is the default selection. Materials drive which sizes, colors, and fixing methods are available through exclusion rules you set in each material’s edit screen.

Use Add material to create entries for acrylic, stainless steel, PVC, or any substrate you offer. For Advanced material configurations, materials tie into component trees rather than a flat list of size and shape menus.

Borders

Borders are optional edge treatments: standard border, rounded corners, premium scalloped edge, double line, and similar styles. Enable borders from the global library, set price and default per row, and configure which sizes or shapes each border supports.

Some borders include sub-settings for border color. Customers who do not need a decorative edge can choose a “none” or zero-cost standard option if you provide one.

Using Preset Components?

Advanced configurations use a different workflow built around design collections and internal design options. Continue with Advanced Mode – Preset Components instead of following the remaining Direct Options screens.

Advanced Mode

Advanced Mode – Preset Components

Preset Components is the advanced setup model. Instead of exposing every size, shape, color, text, and image option as separate customer steps, you first create reusable design collections. Each design then owns its internal options and can be previewed or tuned from the design workspace.

Advanced sidebar overview

Advanced configurations are marked as Preset Components in the editor header. In Core Setup, the main advanced entry is Designs. Fonts, Pricings, and Materials remain available in Core Setup, but the design-specific options are configured inside each design rather than as flat global screens.

Design Collections

Design collections are the tabs or groups customers use to choose a model. A collection can represent a product family, a use case, or a reusable preset group such as event banners, display banners, or outdoor banners. Use the table to reorder collections, choose the default collection, edit details, or delete entries that are no longer needed.

Design Settings

Design Settings control how the Designs tab appears in the customer configurator. Set the tab label and description, choose whether customers see customization options immediately or must select a design first, and decide whether the Designs tab should remain visible when a collection contains only one design.

Edit Design Collection

A collection has its own label, description, optional preview image, and a list of designs. The designs table shows the components included in each design, the preview image, the default design toggle, and actions for editing or configuring the design. Reorder designs to control the sequence shown to customers.

Edit Design

The design editor stores the customer-facing model information: design name, description, preview image, and optional additional price. The internal sidebar lets you configure the options that belong only to this design: Size, Shape, Color, Fixing, Text, Image, Lighting, and Border.

Size

Size defines which dimensions are available for the selected design. You can choose existing sizes from the configuration, create a new managed size, set the default size, and save the design-specific size list.

Shape

Shape controls the outlines available for this design. Choose existing shapes from the shared library, create a new global shape, or add a custom SVG shape just for this design. The preview helps confirm that each shape matches the expected model.

Color

Color is the advanced design option for background colors. Predefined colors can be enabled or disabled for the design, while unlimited colors allow customers to supply a custom color label. The saved data remains part of the design’s background color configuration.

Fixing

Fixing methods define how this design can be mounted. Select existing fixing methods, create a new managed method, or attach a custom SVG method for the design. Use defaults and exclusions to keep impossible combinations away from customers.

Text

Text zones define customer-facing text fields for the design, such as a main title or subtitle. Each zone has a field label, optional default value, and validation constraints. Placement and appearance are handled in the mini configurator.

Image

Image zones define upload or default image fields for the design. Configure the field label, default image, allowed file types, and image constraints such as minimum dimensions, file size, fit mode, required state, and aspect-ratio locking.

Lighting

Lighting links design-specific glow colors to the global Lighting library. Choose existing lighting colors or create a new one from the design editor, then set the default lighting option and any additional price.

Border

Border works like Shape and Fixing: choose existing borders from the managed library, create a new global border, or add a custom border only for this design. Save the default border and any design-specific exclusions.

Configure Design

The Configure design action opens the inline mini configurator for the selected design. Use it to preview the design inside the collection workspace and tune placement for text and image zones without leaving the collection screen.

Direct Editor Setup

Editor Setup comes after Core Setup. It does not define what the sign is made of – it defines what customers can do on the canvas: add text, upload images, apply effects, and work on one or two faces. Configure these screens once your required product options are in place.

Text Setting

Text Setting controls whether customers can add and style text on the canvas, and which tools they receive. The screen is split into collapsible cards – expand each section to configure it, then save.

Text access and QR codes

Text Access is the master switch. Turn it on if customers should type or edit lettering in the visual editor; turn it off for image-only or template-locked products. The QR Code toggle adds a tool for inserting scannable codes – useful for menus, Wi-Fi signs, or promotional boards.

Text type

Choose how lettering appears on the sign: flat normal text, neon glow, or 3D extruded style. Turn on only the modes you actually manufacture – each one changes how the preview and production files look.

Text colors

Build the palette customers use for text in the editor. This is separate from the product colors in Core Setup. Add named swatches, and optionally let buyers enter a custom color if you support special matches.

Font size and formatting

Set the smallest and largest font size allowed, the default size when text is first placed, and whether the customer can change size themselves. Below that, switch individual formatting tools on or off – bold, italic, underline, alignment, curved text, and more – so the toolbar stays as simple or as rich as you need.

Image Setup

Image Setup mirrors Text Setting but for uploaded artwork, clipart, and raster graphics. Configure access first, then colors and upload rules, then production helpers like cutlines and preview scenes.

Image access

Enable the image tool when customers may upload their own files or place graphics on the sign. Separate toggles control download (export from the editor) and upload (bring files in). Disable both if the product is text-and-template only.

Image colors and upload rules

Image colors work like the text palette but apply to uploaded artwork when you support colorization. The upload script section sets allowed file types, max dimensions, and whether uploads use normal processing or enhanced graphical handling. Turn on custom color preview if buyers should see a sample swatch before picking a spot color.

Cutlines

Cutlines show customers where their sign will be cut – essential for kiss-cut stickers, shaped panels, and similar products. Pick the cutline style that matches your material and turn the feature on only when your production workflow uses it.

Filters and scenes

Filters are optional image effects (grayscale, blur, sepia, emboss, color tints, and more). Enable only the ones you can actually produce. Scenes add realistic backgrounds – a shop wall, office desk, outdoor facade – so buyers preview how the finished sign will look in context.

Sign Part – Double-sided signs

Enable Sign Part when the same physical product has two faces (Face A and Face B). Customers switch between faces in the editor, design each side independently, and can copy one face to the other as a starting point. You can rename the face labels, charge an extra fee for double-sided jobs, and control whether both sides share the same options or pricing multiplier.

Leave this disabled for single-sided panels – the customizer stays on one canvas without confusing the buyer.

Direct add-ons

Direct Options – Additional Options

Additional Options add optional components, custom fields, and administrator questions to your customizer.

Components – Additional components

Direct Options only

Additional components are optional upsells beyond the core sign options – surface finish, corner treatment, protective layer, pre-drilled holes, texture, and similar. Each row is a group with a title, short description, and icon. Click Edit to define sub-options inside the group, each with its own label, preview images, price, and rules about which colors or surfaces it applies to.

This screen does not appear for Preset Components configurations, where optional parts are modeled inside Components in Core Setup instead.

Inputs – Custom fields

Inputs let you ask the customer a direct question during configuration: yes/no toggles, dropdowns, or free-text notes for special instructions. Each input has a label, field type, and optional/required flag. Answers travel with the order so your production team sees them on the quote or order detail.

Use inputs for information you cannot model as a visual option – delivery urgency, installation notes, approval requirements, or reference text for the design team.

Librairies

Libraries – Cliparts

The Libraries group connects the global clipart library to this specific configuration.

Cliparts

Cliparts connect your global clipart library to this configuration. Under Selected groups you attach one or more categories created in Manage cliparts. Customers then pick from those graphics inside the image editor.

Use Clipart settings at the bottom to enable or disable cliparts entirely for this config. Add clipart group creates a new category inline; Manage cliparts opens the shop-wide library when you need to upload new SVG or PNG artwork.

Direct Settings

Settings – Configuration Options

Settings control overall customizer behavior: cart, export, mobile, quotes, appearance, and labels.

General

General settings control how the customizer behaves after options are configured: cart flow, file output, mobile layout, quotes, and more. The Section Menu on the right jumps between sub-sections without scrolling. Each block has its own save button.

Product behavior

Here you decide what happens when a customer finishes designing. Enable add to cart lets them purchase directly; Enable design from scratch shows a blank-canvas entry point alongside templates. Redirect toggles send buyers to the cart or checkout immediately after adding a design. You can also hide the add-to-cart button or pricing on the product page, show a recap summary before purchase, or require a file upload when they click finish.

Mode – share and save

Mode settings govern whether customers can share a link to their configuration or save it for later. When enabled, you choose where the share/sign controls appear (options panel, review step, or both). Disable these if every design must be completed in one session or if sharing would leak unpublished pricing.

Output files

Output defines production files generated when an order is placed: image format (PNG, PDF, etc.), DPI for print PDFs, optional watermark overlay, and whether multiple files are zipped with a folder prefix. Match these settings to what your RIP, cutter, or print shop expects.

Upload design

When customers upload their own artwork instead of using the editor, this section sets allowed file extensions, maximum file size, how many files they may send, and whether uploads are packaged into a zip. Tighten limits if you need print-ready vectors only; loosen them for proofing workflows.

Quantity limits and discount

Quantity limits enforce minimum and maximum order quantities per design – useful for bulk-only products or sample limits. Discount supports tiered pricing by quantity (percentage or fixed amount off). Enable only what your pricing strategy needs; both sections are off by default.

Mobile options

Mobile options change how the customizer feels on phones. You can show a navigation menu listing all option steps, open that menu before the first option block, and choose whether option chips stack horizontally or scroll. Test on a real device after changing these – layout differences are significant on small screens.

Request quote

Turn on Request Quote when you want customers to send a request instead of paying immediately. Enter the email addresses that should receive each request, customize the subject line, and decide whether buyers can attach files. Every submission shows up under Request quotes in the plugin menu.

Simple product options

This rare setting replaces the visual customizer with simple dropdown fields on the product page, similar to standard WooCommerce variants. Most sign shops keep it disabled and use the full editor instead.

Customizer Setup – layout and step order

Step order and visibility

Config Options controls which steps appear in the customer journey and in what order. Drag rows to reorder; use Hide option to remove a step without deleting your data (for example hide Lighting if you do not use it). The list mirrors Core Setup and Additional Options: materials, sizes, shapes, text tools, templates, and more.

Layout and measurements

Customizer Options handles layout mechanics: measurement unit (mm, cm, inches), whether width and height show on the canvas, decimal precision, whether the options column sits on the left or right on desktop, where the Finish button appears, and whether customers can skip ahead with a Next button. Thickness toggles control how expandable size details display by default.

Language & Images – labels and icons

Customize wording for the upload-design flow: button labels, help text, and rich-text instructions shown when a customer sends their own file instead of using the canvas.

The Visualizer section holds dozens of UI strings: header title, Undo/Redo/Finish/Add to cart buttons, sidebar labels for each option type, custom size prompts, and thickness labels. Change copy here to match your brand voice or translate to another language without touching code.

Replace default toolbar icons (reset, undo, redo, preview, help, import, share, save) with your own uploads. Icons appear in the customer-facing editor chrome; keep them simple and recognizable at small sizes.

Theme & Color – visual appearance

Start by choosing a skin (Default or Couffo) – a preset layout and color baseline for the whole customizer. Skins change spacing, previews, and default chrome before you fine-tune individual tokens.

Each group in the section menu on the right (canvas, header, price bar, buttons, sidebar, modals, recap summary, etc.) has color pickers for backgrounds, text, and hover states. The recap example above shows how the Finish and Add to cart buttons are styled – use the same idea for the other groups to match your brand.

If you need finer control than the color pickers allow, paste custom CSS in the last block. Use this only when necessary, and check the preview after WordPress, WooCommerce, or theme updates to make sure nothing breaks.

Sort Options – Customer step order

Here you drag and drop the steps customers follow in the customizer – for example showing material before size if that fits your sales flow better. Changes apply to this configuration only.

Simplified Builder

Direct Options – Simplified Builder

An alternative layout for Direct Options configurations. Same options as the sidebar you have been using – sizes, colors, materials, settings – but edited from simpler list screens.

Each option opens in one place: you set the label customers see, a short description, preview image, default choice, price, and rules that hide incompatible combinations. If your shop still shows placeholder pages in the Simplified Builder, continue with the Direct Options menus in this guide – they are fully supported today.

Preview

Live Preview

See the customizer exactly as your customer will – without publishing to your live store.

Click the eye icon at the top of the configuration sidebar. The customizer opens full screen inside WooCommerce. Walk through the same steps a buyer would: choose options, add text, check the price, and make sure nothing is missing or confusing.

Close preview when you are done – you return to the screen you were editing. Use it often while building a new configuration; it is the quickest way to catch mistakes before go-live.

Customer Configurator

Once a configuration is assigned to a WooCommerce product, customers launch the configurator from the product page and customize the sign before adding it to cart or requesting a quote.

WooCommerce product page

The product page displays the configured button label from Global Settings -> Configuration page -> Buttons. When the customer clicks it, WordPress opens the configured customizer page with the product and configuration context already attached.

Customer customization screen

The storefront configurator uses the same configuration data tested in Preview. In Direct Options mode, customers move through the required options and editor tools. In Advanced mode, customers can choose a design collection and design preset, then customize the allowed text, image, color, fixing, lighting, and border options.

Uploaded preview images for design collections and designs should appear here whenever they are defined in the admin. If a preview is missing, check the design image in the Advanced Designs tab and confirm the configuration is assigned to the product being tested.

Request quotes

Request quotes in the plugin menu lists every quote request submitted from a configuration where the Request Quote workflow is enabled.

When a shopper asks for a quote instead of paying online, the request lands here with their contact details, chosen options, and any files they attached. Open a row to review the design, download production assets, and follow up by email. Status tracking helps your team see what is new, in progress, or already quoted.

Quotes only appear if you turned the feature on for that configuration – go to Settings -> General -> Request Quote to enable it, set who receives notifications, and customize the form message customers see.

Adding Fonts

You can choose to access Google Fonts and have them available for your sign configurator or choose to upload you own font files.
You have the the default option of choosing which created font to use also :

If you choose to use google fonts make sure you select the Google font you with to include in your configurator.

In order to add your own font file select “Upload” and make sure you choose the correct file format for your font.

Simple Pricing Mode

In this guide, we will walk you through the Simple Configuration, a perfect starting point for creators new to the sign industry. Whether you’re a budding entrepreneur, an everyday Larry, or simply looking to add a touch of visual flair to your signs, this tutorial will provide you with the essential knowledge and tools to create stunning neon sign effects. Get ready to make a glowing impression as we unveil the secrets behind this user-friendly configuration type.

In order to create a Simple Configuration, please navigate to the Configuration section and select Add New Configuration:

The first step in create a configuration is giving it a distinct name:

Once you’ve named your configuration, you need to select the configuration type for your product.

There are two types of simple configurations: Neon Signs and Channel Signs.
In this case, we’ll choose the Neon Signs:

The next step will be to select the Pricing model you’d like to use. Since this is a simple configuration, the way to go is the Simple Pricing model.

The simple pricing model is designed with simplicity in mind, making it easier for beginners to understand and navigate. It typically offers straightforward pricing structures without complex tiers, add-ons, or hidden costs. This clarity allows beginners to quickly grasp the pricing structure and make informed decisions.

The last step in creating a simple configuration is the option to import Demo data. We highly recommend this if this is your first time using a pricing model:

Make sure to save your configuration once you’ve selected all your parameters.

Size

After creating your Configuration, navigate to your configuration settings and click on “Sizes” to access a range of available options.

It is essential to add all the desired sizes before proceeding to add pricing information.

Option of choosing the preferred created size is available for use and if not any of the created size is selected then the top size will be used by default.

Click on Add new size in order to add a new size for your configurator:

On the new page, fill in all the required details about the size you want to add:

Label: Enter the desired name for the Size you want to include (e.g., small/big).

Description: Provide a description that outlines the specific dimensions of the Size (e.g., minimum 10cm and maximum 60cm).

Width: Enter the maximum width for the Size (e.g., 60cm).

Maximum lines of text: Specify the maximum number of lines of text permitted for this Size (e.g., 1, 2, or 3 lines).

Minimum Text Characters: Specify the minimum number of text characters allowed for the entire sign. If left blank, the default minimum will be set to 3 characters per line, and the user will be unable to add fewer than 3 characters per line.

Maximum Text Characters per line: Indicate the maximum number of text characters permitted per line (e.g., 20 characters per line). The user will be restricted from exceeding this limit.

Resize is a new option that make desktop and mobile font resizable , you have the Default font size which you can change.

When set on auto resize you can set the minimum and maximum font size in advanced for it to automatically adjust on both a mobile or desktop screen

Once you have completed all the necessary details, click the Save button located in the bottom right corner to save your changes.

Pricing

Click Add New Pricing to set up a new pricing rule.

For simple pricing rules, once you’ve defined the label for your pricing rule, all you have to do is set a base price for each line of sign and a price per letter.
This will need to be set for the number of lines you’ve set as the maximum for this size.

This will be the rule followed for all signs made with the sign size you’ve selected:
In this case, we’ll define a pricing rule for our previously created “Simple Neon” size:

In simple mode, the price of a neon sign is determined by its size, number of characters, number of lines, and font.

Here’s an example to help out:

The sign says “This is a sign”

The customer has chosen a simple font Simple Neon size.

There is only one line of text for this sign.

The base price for a small-sized line of text is $10.

The sign has 11 text characters, and the price per character for this line is $10.

Calculation:Base Price + (text characters x price per character)

Result:10 + (11 x 10) = $120.00

Advanced Pricing Mode

Welcome, experienced sign creators, in this tutorial we explore advanced configurations that can elevate your sign creation projects to new heights. If you are a beginner or new to sign creation, we highly recommend starting with the simple configurations tutorials to build a solid foundation before delving into the advanced realm.
So, sharpen your skills, embrace the challenges, and let your creativity soar as you dive into the world of advanced sign configuration.

In order to create an Advanced Configuration, please navigate to the Configuration section and select Add New Configuration:

The first step in create a configuration is giving it a distinct name:

There are two types of simple configurations: Neon Signs and Channel Signs.
We’ll choose the Neon Signs:

The next step will be to select the Pricing model you’d like to use. This is where we choose “Advanced”

The last step in creating an advanced configuration is the option to import Demo data. We highly recommend this for a smoother process.

Make sure to save your configuration once you’ve selected all your parameters.

Size

A size in the advanced configuration is in fact a sign  factor of the overall sign’s total size.

To grasp the concept, let’s break it down using an example:

Imagine we have a font with specific size configurations. The smallest letter height is set at 4 inches, and for the smallest uppercase letters, it is defined as 7 inches.

Now, let’s explore two scenarios:

Scenario 1:
A customer inputs the letter “e” and selects the medium size. Based on the given calculations, we can determine the resulting height. In this case, we multiply the smallest height (4 inches) by the size scale multiplier (2.5). As a result, the height measures 10 inches.

Scenario 2:
Let’s consider a customer typing the letter “B” and choosing the small size. By applying the calculations, we can determine the resulting height. Here, we multiply the smallest height (7 inches) by the size scale multiplier (0.8). Consequently, the height becomes 5.6 inches.

By examining these scenarios, we gain a better understanding of how the font size settings interact with different letters and the selected size options.

Please remember this

After creating your Configuration, navigate to your configuration settings and click on “Sizes” to set up your size multiplier.

Option of choosing the preferred created size is available for use and if not any of the created size is selected then the top size will be used by default.

Label: Enter the desired name for the Size you want to include (e.g., small/big).

Description: Provide a description that outlines the specific dimensions of the Size.

Minimum Text Characters: Minimum number of text characters required for the sign.

Maximum Sign Width: A limit on the width dimension of the sign.

  1. Unlimited Width: There are no restrictions or limitations on the width dimension of the sign. The sign can be as wide as desired without any predefined width boundaries.
  2. Limited Width: There is a constraint on the width dimension of the sign. The sign cannot exceed the defined width value

Maximum Sign Height:
Similar to the maximum sign width, this focuses on setting a limit on the height dimension of the sign.

Unlimited Height: That there are no restrictions or limitations on the height dimension of the sign.

Limited Height: There is a constraint on the height dimension of the sign. The sign cannot exceed the defined height value.

CUSTOM SIZING:

Allow customers to modify the sign’s width using a range slider.

Maximum Range in centimeters:It defines the maximum value that the range slider can be adjusted to when setting the size of the sign. If left blank, it will default to a maximum range of 300 centimeters.

It determines the increment or step size by which the custom size can be adjusted.

Pricing

Pricing in our advanced configuration operates on a sophisticated algorithm that considers several factors. These include the chosen letter pricing type, the combination of pricing inputs utilized, and the final width and height dimensions of the sign.

In order to add a new pricing method, click on “add new Pricing”.
From there on you will have to give your pricing method a name and chose whether to use “Fixed cost per Letter” or “Letter material cost”.

Through our price formula editor, you have the flexibility to create multiple size ranges that align with the cost and profitability aspects associated with constructing and shipping a sign to your customers.

Max size range:

This establishes a dimension range based on the sign’s width and height, where the subsequent pricing inputs are applied.

Shipping Cost:

This feature enables precise price calculations for total shipping expenses. It associates a specific cost per square centimeter with the sign’s dimensional size, utilizing the width and height values. Learn more about calculating your shipping costs.

Fixed Letter Pricing:

You can set a fixed price per letter, such as $7 USD. This allows for consistent pricing regardless of letter type or design.

Letter Material Cost:

Define the cost of the material used to create the sign’s letters, and price it based on a per-centimeter basis. Materials range from flexible neon to glass, metal, wood, and more. It’s essential to understand the actual cost of the required materials, as an average price based on letter size may not accurately reflect the true cost. Utilize our article guide to assist you in determining material costs.

Base Price:

The base price incorporates any additional expenses necessary to construct the sign within the specified dimensional size range. This can include factors such as building costs or other related expenses.

ASO Concepts/Terms

We believe that every design is based on a material, whether printed or engraved. We’ve therefore introduced the concept of material into our App, distinguishing between two types of material: simple and advanced. For a realistic view of designs, we’ve integrated method fixings representing the different design support methods, and shapes highlighting the different forms our design can take.

Here are a few terms to help you understand the lexicon of the app and how it works.

ASO: All Signs Options (Signs Customiser App)

Material: The base substances used for creating signs (e.g., wood, vinyl, acrylic).

Material simple: The simple material mode offers your customers flexibility by allowing them to manipulate the material’s shape, color, and border. It is therefore, a material in its standard form, allowing different variations to be applied to the material.

Material advanced: The advanced material mode presents specific variations of the material chosen by the user, with less flexibility when it comes to variations applied to the material. Advanced material comes with its own size, background, shape and border.

Configuration:  It’s a set of defined properties or options assigned to a product to make that product customizable. It contains the various parameters required to load and run the editor attached to the customizable product.

Customizer / Configurator: An editor within ASO that allows users to personalize their sign designs and get a realistic view of their designs.

Fixing method: The techniques used to mount or display signs (e.g., adhesive, screws).

Shape: The shape of the signs can be square, round, triangle, polygonal, etc…

Template: Pre-designed sign layouts that can be customized.

          Introduction

          All Signs Customizer Complete Documentation

All Signs Customizer for WooCommerce (ASCWO) is a WordPress plugin that lets you offer a full product customizer for signs, panels, and personalized products directly on WooCommerce product pages. From materials and pricing to advanced preset designs, quote requests, and production files, everything is managed from your WordPress admin.

          Fonts & Cliparts

Manage the visual assets used across your configurators: Google and custom fonts, plus your clipart library. Both modules live in the plugin menu.

          Manage Fonts

Your font library lives here – upload your own files or pick from Google Fonts. Once a font is in the library, enable it inside each configuration under Core Setup -> Fonts, set pricing if needed, and drag it into the order customers will see on the product page.

          Manage Cliparts

Upload SVG or PNG artwork shoppers can place on their sign – icons, borders, mascots, seasonal graphics. Group cliparts by category, then turn each group on per configuration in Libraries -> Cliparts so only relevant artwork appears in the editor.

          Global settings

Settings in Global settings apply to your entire shop – not to a single configuration. Libraries you create here are reused in each config’s Direct Options Core Setup.

          License

The License area is used only by the Pro version of the plugin. ASCWO Free does not require a license key. If your store runs ASCWO Pro, enter the license key here to activate the licensed installation, check the current activation state, and keep access to Pro updates and support aligned with your store.

          Configuration Page

Choose the WordPress page that hosts your customizer when you share direct links or embed the experience in your theme. The Pages tab lets you select the page used by the configurator and define the heading tag used for the configurator title. The Buttons tab controls the customer-facing buttons displayed on product and cart pages, including the customize button and recap button labels. If customers land on the wrong page, they will not see the editor, so confirm this matches the page configured for your WooCommerce customizer flow.

          Output

Shop-wide defaults for production files: how zip archives are named, when output is calculated automatically, and which email addresses receive files when an order contains a customized product. Set this once instead of repeating the same addresses in every configuration.

          Shapes

Build a shared shape library – circles, rectangles, custom silhouettes – with a name and preview icon. Individual configurations then pick which shapes from this library are available under Core Setup -> Shapes.

          Borders

Borders you reuse across products live here. Create each border once with its artwork, then enable the ones you need per configuration in Core Setup -> Borders.

          Fixing Methods

Fixing methods describe how a sign is mounted: tape, screws, standoffs, and similar options. Add the name, short description, icon, and optional detail image here; turn them on per config in Core Setup -> Fixing Methods.

Linked modules : Fonts and cliparts are managed from the plugin menu (see Fonts & Cliparts).

          Support & Updates

Keep the plugin compatible with WordPress, WooCommerce, and your theme while preserving production-ready configurations.

          Plugin updates

Install updates from the WordPress admin when a new ASCWO build is provided. Test important stores on staging first, especially when WooCommerce or theme templates have changed.

          Compatibility checks

After WordPress, WooCommerce, or theme updates, open a configuration preview and place a test order to confirm option rendering, pricing, uploads, and generated production files.

Recommended workflow : Keep a backup of the site and database before major updates. ASCWO stores configuration JSON in WordPress data, so backups protect both admin setup and customer-facing behavior.

          Assign/Display Configuration

To display the configurator normally, it needs to be attached to a WooCommerce product. This makes the product customizable, so you can customize it.

There are two ways to display the configurator:

step 1-The first method is to assign the configuration to the product by editing an existing product or creating a new WooCommerce product. After creating your configuration, you can go to the product’s editing area and you’ll see a select list of your configurations. Choose the configuration you want to attach to this product and save.

Then go to the configurable product page and you’ll see the configuration button, which will take you to the configuration page. You can then link this button directly to your menu, for example, to enable access to the configuration page directly from the menu.

For this method to work properly, you must define in global settings the page that will be used to display the configurator.

Step 2- The second method is to use the shortcode that allows you to display the configurator directly anywhere on a page. For this option you need to use the shortcode [ncpc-configurator productid=’…’] where productid is the id of the product to which you want the configuration to be assigned. For example, if my product ID is 59, to display the configurator on a page, I’d simply add the short code “[ncpc-configurator productid=’59’]” at a precise point on my page, and the configurator would be displayed.

In this way, the configuration must be linked to the product in order to load the configurator properly, either via the shortcode or by editing the product.

          • Size
          • Pricing

          Manage Fonts

Fonts are one of the most essential yet fundamental features in design, and our ASO Shopify Signs Customiser app is built to prioritize this. It enables you to add custom TTF fonts, which can be used directly on the canvas and in the output PDF files.

          1.Fonts management

The Fonts interface lets you specify the fonts your customers can use when adding text to their designs. If no fonts are specified, we have default fonts that can be used.

Click on the ‘Add new font’ to add your font.

          1.1 Add custom TTF fonts

Custom TTF fonts are also supported by our ASO Shopify signs customiser. To add a TTF file, follow these steps:

          Dashboard

Your dashboard is the daily starting point. It brings together key metrics and quick access to every module in the plugin menu.

          Key metrics at a glance

          • Products Created : How many customized products your customers created through the ASCWO customizer.
          • Conversion Rate : Calculated as (ASCWO Orders / Products Created) x 100.
          • Orders : Number of orders that include at least one ASCWO customized product.

          Plugin menu

The menu on the left is your map through ASCWO. Home brings you back to this dashboard. List of configurations is where you create and edit each customizer – the heart of the plugin and covered in detail below. Request quotes, Templates, Manage fonts, and Manage cliparts handle customer quotes and shared resources. Global settings stores shop-wide libraries and production defaults. Pricing is where you manage your plugin support.

The Plugin Menu sections later in this guide walk through quotes, templates, fonts, cliparts, and global settings once your first configuration is in place.

          Next Steps

Now that ASCWO is installed, take some time to explore its features, set up your custom sign templates, and start offering your customers the ability to design and order their own signs.

          Configurations

          Plugin Menu

          Request quotes

Request quotes in the plugin menu lists every quote request submitted from a configuration where the Request Quote workflow is enabled.

When a shopper asks for a quote instead of paying online, the request lands here with their contact details, chosen options, and any files they attached. Open a row to review the design, download production assets, and follow up by email. Status tracking helps your team see what is new, in progress, or already quoted.

Quotes only appear if you turned the feature on for that configuration – go to Settings -> General -> Request Quote to enable it, set who receives notifications, and customize the form message customers see.

          Setup Configuration

A custom sign product configuration is a collection of parameters that can be applied to one shopify product to control their functionality. By assigning a custom sign product configuration to a standard shopify product, it becomes a customizable sign product.

          1.Create a configuration

To create a configuration, click on “the configuration menu” or “Create configuration, Get started”, you’ll see a list of configurations already created, and the Add new configuration button, which lets you add a new configuration.

Click on the “Add new configuration” button to enter a name and description for the configuration and click on the ”Next” button to save.

After saving the name and description , you’ll be prompted to choose whether you want to import a demo data or not. Demo data are configured according to specific examples, so you can easily modify them from there.

If you choose to import a data demo, you’ll be prompted to select the demo you want to import and click on the ”Done” button.

This takes you to the configuration list view, where you can manage your configuration by clicking on the “Materials” button in the configuration you’ve created. Please follow the steps below to manage your configuration

          Articles

          • Material
          • Setting
          • Additional Options

There are two types of simple configurations: Neon Signs and Channel Signs.
In this case, we’ll choose the Neon Signs:

              Adding Materials

Materials are an additional option that only apply to neon signs. They can be added for both simple neon configurations and advanced neon configuration.
In order to add a material, click on addition options and navigate to the material section:

Provide a label for the material. This label will be displayed to your clients, so make sure it accurately represents the material you’re adding. For example, if you’re adding a wood material, you can label it as “Wood” or any other descriptive term.

Next, include a short description of the material. This description will help your clients understand the characteristics and features of the material you’re offering. Be concise and informative, highlighting the unique aspects of the material.

To give your clients a visual representation of the material, upload an image showcasing it. This image should accurately depict the appearance, texture, and quality of the material. It will assist your clients in visualizing how the material will look in their chosen sign design.

If you’d like to assign pricing options to the material, you have the flexibility to do so. Decide on the pricing structure for each material, whether it’s a fixed price or based on specific criteria. Ensure that the pricing aligns with the value and cost of the material.

Once you have provided the necessary details, save the material. It will now be available as an additional option for your clients when customizing their signs.

Channel product ( Letter type )

Imagine creating signs or lettering that stand out not just for their design, but also because they literally light up! This is possible with channel letters, a popular choice for businesses and creative projects.

Channel letters are three-dimensional metal shells that hold a front face and can be illuminated from the sides and back. On our plugin we allow for a variety of customization options which are :

              • Front Face
              • Trim

With these features, channel letters can be tailored to perfectly match your brand or project.

So to know add new letter type to your configuration you navigate to the Letter type page and select “Add letter type”  in the corner.

And then you scroll down to letter type setting and fill in the box which ask for ( title , description ) after that you choose a popup image which is completely optional.

In the pricing section you have three pricing and the pricing is optional. None which means you don’t want any additional cost added when someone customize in the letter type section.

The base price is the second pricing option available and in that option additional cost  are added when the base price is selected by the customer (e.g. $10.00).

You also have the price multiplier which duplicate the last cost of the sign when chosen (for example 2 x 100) as seen written in the image.

After doing all that you can now edit your letter part.

The face letter part is required but can still be customized. You click on the the pencil type logo under action to customize you letter face

then you will see a add new on which you click and give it a title then choose the color you want and choose the visual effect you want for this letter part.

After that you can now scroll down to Minimum sizes which is also optional. In the size section you have minimum width and minimum height available. When the value is greater than 0, then this color may be disabled when the width of the sign is less than this value and same for the height section too. From there you have the rule for the size where you choose if you want one or the two size to be disable until the conditions is me and then you choose your preview and popup image and that section also is optional.

We can comme to the last part which is the Trim, Side , Back Lit and those thee customisable letter part with our plugin and to customize them it is the same process as the face letter part but the difference is that this three letter part are optional which means you can decide to have them used or not if you don’t want mean else the face is required so it is not optional. Follow the step above to customize this three optional letter part if you wan’t. Remember to tick the sliding icon on each of the letter part if want to make use of them.

As always you have your price setting where you choose if you want base or price multiplier you can also leave it to non after all the price setting is optional.

              Adding Backboards

In order to add a backboard, click on addition options and navigate to the backboard section:

Provide a label for the backboard. This label will be displayed to your clients, so make sure it accurately represents the backboard you’re adding. For example, if you’re adding a wooden backboard, you can label it as “Wood” or any other descriptive term.

Next, include a short description of the backboard. This description will help your clients understand the characteristics and features of the material you’re offering. Be concise and informative, highlighting the unique aspects of the material.

Make sure to select a backboard type to insure your clients know to navigate the options you have.

To give your clients a visual representation of the backboard, upload an image showcasing it. This image should accurately depict the appearance, texture, and quality of the backboard.

If you’d like to assign pricing options to the backboard, you have the flexibility to do so. Decide on the pricing structure for each material, whether it’s a fixed price or based on specific criteria.

Once you have provided the necessary details, save the backboard. It will now be available as an additional option for your clients when customizing their signs.

Do I need to create a product to see or use my configuration

Yes, you need to create a product in WooCommerce and assign your configuration to it. The configuration will only appear when linked to a product.

              Adding Backboard Colors

You can choose to give your backboard a bit more personality by having them resonate a color.
To add a backboard color, navigate to the addition options and click to the backboard section

Always remember to give your backboard color a label to ensure it is easy to identify.

Once you’ve named your backboard color, you now select your corresponding color.
You can chose a shade that fits your needs or manually input the hex code for your specific color:

With Backboard colors you can not only define a preview image, you can also define a popup image to accentuate your backboard color:

If you’d like to assign pricing options to the backboard color, you have the flexibility to do so. Decide on the pricing structure for each material, whether it’s a fixed price or based on specific criteria.

Once you have provided the necessary details, save the backboard color. It will now be available as an additional option for your clients when customizing their signs.

Where can I find the correct product ID

The correct product ID can be found in the WooCommerce product section, right under the product you created.

              Adding Mounting Options

To add a mounting option, click on addition options and navigate to the mounting section:

Provide a label for the mounting option. This label will be displayed to your clients, so make sure it accurately represents the mounting option you’re adding. For example, if you’re adding wall mounting kit, you can label it as “Wall Mounting Kit” or any other descriptive term.

Next, include a short description of the mounting option. This description will help your clients understand the characteristics and features of the mounting option you’re offering.

To give your clients a visual representation of the mounting option, upload an image showcasing it. This image should accurately depict the appearance, texture, and quality of the mounting option.

If you’d like to assign pricing options to the mounting option, you have the flexibility to do so.

Once you have provided the necessary details, save themounting option. It will now be available as an additional option for your clients when customizing their signs.

Why aren’t the size, font, or other settings appearing

If the size, font, or other settings are not showing, it’s likely because you haven’t selected the configuration before trying to edit it. You need to click on the configuration first if it appears blank, it means you’re trying to edit something that hasn’t been selected or doesn’t exist yet.

              Additional Options

If you have any other specific option you’d like to make available to your client please feel free to make them here.
Simply navigate to the Additional option section and click new additional option

From there you’ll first need to select the input type for this option:

Once you’ve selected your option type, follow the prompts accordingly for the specifics of the type you selected after giving your option a name and description:

              Yes/no

              Image input

              Dropdown

              Note input

Once you have provided the necessary details, save your option. It will now be available as an additional option for your clients when customizing their signs.

              General

Mobile Selection Options Display allows users the selection options to display as horizontally scrollable options on mobile or stacked vertically.

              • Product:

Users have the choice to send the design by emails. By choosing to receive design by email you have to put your email in. An email is sent every time a custom sign is marked as PAID on the shopify order. If you have more than one, please separate them with a slash sign. You have a space to put the mail subject in.

              Language and image

              • Main : In the Main tab there is the header,  text box label, line count etc compartment with each of them giving you the choice to custom everything possible.

Everything in MAIN is able to be changed.

              • Custom design:

Custom design links enable  to display a link to direct customers to another page on your site, this will display as one of the first options on desktop and mobile.

Custom Link is a shortened URL that you can customize yourself before sharing.

              • Visualizer:

In the visualizer you can modify everything you see like text icon, font icon, size icon . There is  a modifiable on/off for the visualizer.

To display the icons it must be in an svg code.

              • Images:

Users have the option to Preview images . If  ticked, the preview images will be shown on the visualizer screen.

              Theme Colors

In one word everything concerning color looks can be changed here.

              Color customization on the configurator

In the Pro and Starter versions, you can change the colors of the available skins to match the colors of the configurator to the colors of the page, and therefore to the graphic charter of your site.

              Sort Option Order

              Sort Option Order :

Here you can sort the configurator items ( what should be up or down and changing the order

. to change the order you just have to click and hold and drag the configurator up or down.)

Once a configuration is assigned to a WooCommerce product, customers launch the configurator from the product page and customize the sign before adding it to cart or requesting a quote.

The product page displays the configured button label from Global Settings -> Configuration page -> Buttons. When the customer clicks it, WordPress opens the configured customizer page with the product and configuration context already attached.
