Manage fonts

Estimated reading: 2 minutes 6034 views

Fonts are one of the most essential yet fundamental features in design, and our ASO WooCommerce Sign Product Customizer plugin is built to prioritize this. Not only does it allow you to use Google Fonts in your designs, but it also enables you to add custom TTF fonts, which can be used directly on the canvas and in the output PDF files.

1.Fonts management

The Fonts interface lets you specify the fonts your customers can use when adding text to their designs. If no fonts are specified, we have a some default fonts that will be used.

To add your own font, simply click on the Manage fonts menu, you’ll then see a list of fonts already added.

1.1 Add Google fonts

Google Fonts is one of the most popular and free web font libraries in the world. To add a Google font:

  1. Clicking on the Add new font button brings up the interface below, ready for you to add the Googles you want to make available.

2. Click on the fonts dropdown in order to select the one you want.

3- Then click on select Font variant to choose the font variations available, exe: regular, italic etc… if the font has any.

4. Click on the Save button to save your newly selected font into the product designer.

1.2 Add custom TTF fonts

Custom TTF fonts are also supported by our ASO WooCommerce sign product customizer. In order to add a TTF file take the following steps:

Go to https://transfonter.org/ to convert your TTF file into a web-compatible format. This will ensure your file is readable by all browsers.

1.Choose the Upload font option and enter the name of your font

2. Click on the Choose a font button and select the font file you want to add.

3.Click on the save button to save the font

WOFF files are not allowed. Only TTF and OTF files can be used.
