Configurations Advanced Mode Estimated reading: 4 minutes 32 views Advanced Mode – Preset ComponentsPreset Components is the advanced setup model. Instead of exposing every size, shape, color, text, and image option as separate customer steps, you first create reusable design collections. Each design then owns its internal options and can be previewed or tuned from the design workspace.Advanced sidebar overviewAdvanced configurations are marked as Preset Components in the editor header. In Core Setup, the main advanced entry is Designs. Fonts, Pricings, and Materials remain available in Core Setup, but the design-specific options are configured inside each design rather than as flat global screens.Design CollectionsDesign collections are the tabs or groups customers use to choose a model. A collection can represent a product family, a use case, or a reusable preset group such as event banners, display banners, or outdoor banners. Use the table to reorder collections, choose the default collection, edit details, or delete entries that are no longer needed.Design SettingsDesign Settings control how the Designs tab appears in the customer configurator. Set the tab label and description, choose whether customers see customization options immediately or must select a design first, and decide whether the Designs tab should remain visible when a collection contains only one design.Edit Design CollectionA collection has its own label, description, optional preview image, and a list of designs. The designs table shows the components included in each design, the preview image, the default design toggle, and actions for editing or configuring the design. Reorder designs to control the sequence shown to customers.Edit DesignThe design editor stores the customer-facing model information: design name, description, preview image, and optional additional price. The internal sidebar lets you configure the options that belong only to this design: Size, Shape, Color, Fixing, Text, Image, Lighting, and Border.SizeSize defines which dimensions are available for the selected design. You can choose existing sizes from the configuration, create a new managed size, set the default size, and save the design-specific size list.ShapeShape controls the outlines available for this design. Choose existing shapes from the shared library, create a new global shape, or add a custom SVG shape just for this design. The preview helps confirm that each shape matches the expected model.ColorColor is the advanced design option for background colors. Predefined colors can be enabled or disabled for the design, while unlimited colors allow customers to supply a custom color label. The saved data remains part of the design’s background color configuration.FixingFixing methods define how this design can be mounted. Select existing fixing methods, create a new managed method, or attach a custom SVG method for the design. Use defaults and exclusions to keep impossible combinations away from customers.TextText zones define customer-facing text fields for the design, such as a main title or subtitle. Each zone has a field label, optional default value, and validation constraints. Placement and appearance are handled in the mini configurator.ImageImage zones define upload or default image fields for the design. Configure the field label, default image, allowed file types, and image constraints such as minimum dimensions, file size, fit mode, required state, and aspect-ratio locking.LightingLighting links design-specific glow colors to the global Lighting library. Choose existing lighting colors or create a new one from the design editor, then set the default lighting option and any additional price.BorderBorder works like Shape and Fixing: choose existing borders from the managed library, create a new global border, or add a custom border only for this design. Save the default border and any design-specific exclusions.Configure DesignThe Configure design action opens the inline mini configurator for the selected design. Use it to preview the design inside the collection workspace and tune placement for text and image zones without leaving the collection screen.
