Configurations Direct Options Menu Estimated reading: 2 minutes 29 views Direct Options – Configurator MenuThe Configurator Menu sidebar organizes all Direct Options editing. A search field filters items in real time. The exact items you see depend on the setup model you chose in the wizard.Once inside a configuration, the left sidebar is your map. At the top you see the configuration name, its ID, setup model, and product family. Use the search box to filter menu items when you know the name but not which group it sits in. The back arrow returns to the list; the eye icon opens a live preview of the customer customizer without publishing.Menu groups are collapsible. If you chose Direct Options in the wizard, Core Setup lists sizes, pricing, fonts, colors, and the rest as separate screens. If you chose Preset Components, much of that work moves into Components instead.Direct Options – sidebar walkthroughThis is the most common layout. Core Setup holds every structural choice the customer makes before designing: sizes, pricing, fonts, colors, lighting, fixing methods, shapes, materials, and borders. Work through sizes and pricing first, then materials and visual options.Editor Setup controls the design canvas. Additional Options adds optional upsells and custom questions. Libraries connects clipart groups. Settings covers cart behavior, output files, labels, and appearance.Preset Components – what changesWith this setup model, Core Setup focuses on Components and Materials rather than separate menus for every size and shape. Customers personalize predefined structures. Additional Options only shows custom questions – not the extra Components list used in the Build by Options flow.If you expected Sizes or Shapes in the sidebar and do not see them, check the setup model shown at the top of the editor – you likely chose Preset Components when creating the configuration.Where to go next ? : The following sections document each menu group in detail, with screenshots and explanations for every screen. Start with Core Setup for a Direct Options configuration, or open Components first if you used Build from Presets.
