Additional Options add optional components, custom fields, and administrator questions to your customizer.

Components – Additional components

Direct Options only

Additional components are optional upsells beyond the core sign options – surface finish, corner treatment, protective layer, pre-drilled holes, texture, and similar. Each row is a group with a title, short description, and icon. Click Edit to define sub-options inside the group, each with its own label, preview images, price, and rules about which colors or surfaces it applies to.

This screen does not appear for Preset Components configurations, where optional parts are modeled inside Components in Core Setup instead.

Inputs – Custom fields

Inputs let you ask the customer a direct question during configuration: yes/no toggles, dropdowns, or free-text notes for special instructions. Each input has a label, field type, and optional/required flag. Answers travel with the order so your production team sees them on the quote or order detail.

Use inputs for information you cannot model as a visual option – delivery urgency, installation notes, approval requirements, or reference text for the design team.
